2014 Winners

Six students will be finding the financial aspect of university life slightly easier following monetary awards recently presented to them by the Royal Agricultural Society of Western Australia.

Annually, the RAS WA assists young people studying agricultural subjects by contributing to their tertiary costs through the Australian Council of Agricultural Societies Coca-Cola Regional Scholarships program. Each of this year’s winners received $2,000 which they will use toward their studies.

The recipients are: Jason Schutz of Esperance; Natasha Verazzi of Padbury; Courtney Wright of Redcliffe; Georgia Reid of Claremont; Cameron Broun of Crawley and  Jessica Everett of Canning Vale.

Jason Schutz is studying Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University; Natasha Verazzi is a student at the University of Western Australia studying Bachelor of Science Agriculture; Cameron Broun, also at UWA is studying Bachelor of Science – Agricultural Science and Chemistry.

Courtney Wright and Jessica Everett are both students at Murdoch University. Courtney is studying Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and Jessica, Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine.  Georgia Reid, UWA, is studying Bachelor of Agricultural Science.
