FORREST OBE Percival Dicey

1889 – 1960

Percival Forrest was especially notable for pioneering the production of subterranean clover in the south west of Western Australia and developing improved harvesting machines. During the Depression he worked on the reform of the Group Settlement scheme. He was responsible for developing many of the amenities of Boyup Brook, and for the establishment there during the 1939-45 war of Western Australia’s first commercial flax industry.
